The Inn at Carnall Hall

The second oldest building on campus, The Inn at Carnall Hall was originally constructed in 1905 as the first women's on-campus dormitory. It was later used to house offices and classrooms and was vacated in 1991. After falling to disrepair and earmarked for razing in favor of a parking lot, AMA and the University made a joint effort to save the building and invest in its restoration. It is now a luxury boutique 50-room hotel, and it is home to Ella's Restaurant, which serves exquisite nouveau cuisine. The Inn at Carnall Hall also serves as a working classroom for the UofA's growing hospitality management program.
