December 29, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

Bathtubs were being distributed up to the 4th – 6th Floors and began being installed.

The mason’s mobile scaffold system arrived and was placed at the west elevation. Overhead framing was installed and plastic sheeting was being installed at the scaffolding in preparation for heating and masonry installation during cold weather.

The electrical contractor continued running armored cabling throughout the building.

The elevator machine assemblies were lifted into place at the top of the elevator shafts.

The parapet walls at the 8th Floor north roof terrace were framed up.

Metal stud framing and sheathing board continued to be installed at the exterior of the building at the 7th Floor Level and sheathing board was being installed at the east elevation.

Wood blocking continued to be installed at exterior window openings at the upper levels.

Pipe risers continued to be run to the upper levels at the north pipe chase.

Concrete was poured at the northeast stair and landing from Dickson Street down to the 1st Floor Level.
