September 8, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

Fayetteville Mechanical continued running copper HVAC piping and PVC piping over the 1st Floor, installed steel HVAC riser piping with run-outs at the 2nd Floor Mechanical Room, continued welding up steel HVAC piping for installation over the 2nd Floor, continued installing PVC risers in the Mechanical Room up through the 4th Floor, began installing gas piping at the 2nd Floor entry point, core drilled pipe penetrations at the 4th Floor slab and was running steel HVAC branch lines over the 2nd Floor.

Midwest Drywall installed drywall at the partition wall in the 1st Floor Mechanical Room, received metal studs in preparation for installation at the 2nd Floor exterior and continued laying out walls on the 2nd and 3rd Floors.

Crossland Steel installed steel posts and beams to support the stair entering the building at the northeast corner from Dickson Street to the 1st Floor, completed installation of bar joists at the 5th Floor and installed bridging, installed perimeter angle and angles at framed openings at the 5th Floor and began setting floor decking up on the 5th Floor.

Crossland Concrete removed forms from the concrete bases at the loggia columns at the 1st Floor, dressed up the concrete walls at the central staircase, installed rock base for the grade beams at Powerhouse Row and poured concrete at the south stair from the 2nd to 3rd Floor and at miscellaneous slab blockouts.

Bill’s Electric continued receiving electrical panels and equipment on site and set several panel boxes in the 1st Floor Mechanical room.

Max True Fireproofing installed lath at bar joists over the 3rd Floor.

Walker Masonry erected the 3 brick sample panels.

September 4, 2007, Underwood Plaza Update

Crossland Steel continued hanging beams at the 5th Floor, set the north stairs and rails from the 3rd to the 4th Floor, set the south stairs from the 2nd to the 3rd Floor, began setting joists and running safety cables at the 5th Floor and was welding in diagonal bracing gusset plates on top of the 4th Floor beams.

Fayetteville Mechanical continued running cast iron and PVC piping over the 2nd Floor, installed HVAC valves and pressure tested HVAC piping over the 2nd Floor, roughed in floor drains and installed sleeves and block outs for the 4th Floor slab pour, set the booster pump in the 1st Floor mechanical room, continued bringing welded steel pipe fittings on site and continued welding up steel risers, continued running duct risers at the 2nd Floor, was hanging duct over the 3rd Floor and set the main condenser water risers at the mechanical room south of the elevator shaft from the 1st Floor up through the 4th Floor.

Bill’s Electric continued running conduits and boxes over the 1st and 2nd Floors, began running conduits and boxes over the 3rd Floor and set cans for the main gear in the 1st Floor mechanical room.

Midwest Drywall was on site and began laying out walls on the 2nd and 3rd Floors and framed up the divider wall in the 1st Floor mechanical room.

Crossland Concrete installed block-outs and wire mesh reinforcing for the 4th Floor slab pour. The 4th Floor slab was poured. Concrete bases were formed and poured at the 1st Floor loggia columns. The north stair was poured from the 3rd to the 4th Floor. Powerhouse Row was mucked out to begin forming grade beams.
