January 11, 2008, Underwood Plaza Update
The exterior door and window openings at the east side of the 1st Floor restaurant space were being framed up.
Exterior sheathing and felt continued being installed at the east elevation.
Masonry installation continued at the west elevation at the 2nd Floor Level. Load relieving support angles were installed and masonry began being installed at the 3rd Floor Level.
Wood blocking was being installed along the edges of the exterior porches and balconies.
Electrical rough in continued at the upper floors.
Membrane flashing was being installed at the exterior balcony door jambs and sills.
Plumbing rough in, including gas piping, PVC drain lines, copper condenser water piping and cast iron drain piping, continued at the upper floors.
Exterior metal stud framing for the two towers reached the 9th Floor Level.
Perimeter bent plate and angles, along with steel decking, were being installed at the concrete portion of the main roof.
The long east porch at the 9th Floor Level was poured.
